Inspiration behind A Goddess Journey

A Goddess Journey is an umbrella company that inspires children through a daily picture and video blog that chronicles the journey of the multi-talented Gigi; an Inspirational Booklet and Coloring Book product line, written and self-published; Generic Birthday Parties (“Majestic Moments” parties); “Majestic Moments” Activity Corner – A smaller version of the “Majestic Moments” birthday party, that they bring to all different sorts of events, like the Annual DC, Love Locs and Natural Hair Expo; and, a reading tour, Project Read!.

At just 9 years old, Gigi Kiett (with help from her Invisible Dog Dwayne) produced her very own inspirational book for children. “Whispers from a Baby Goddess and Her Invisible Dog Dwayne” provides interactive fun with photos, quotes, and questions that address issues such as eating healthy, self-esteem, and bullying.

Gigi’s big sister,Khadijah, then volunteered to share her artistic talents by illustrating a coloring book to go with her little sister’s first book.

Coinciding with the release of her book, Gigi was also inspired to start a reading tour called Project Read!, in which she shares her genuine love for reading with other children in places like hospitals, homeless shelters, community centers, after-school programs, libraries, book stores, and schools.

She hopes to inspire youth to explore and use their talents via a series of workshops which consist of story telling, DIY eco-friendly arts and crafts, puppet shows, face painting and more.
